Vector is a Novice-level boat that appears exclusively in Hydro Thunder Hurricane and Hydro Thunder GO.
In the Tempest Pack DLC, there is a high-performance, upgraded version of this boat, Vector X.

Description[]
This is a solid choice for beginners to get their feet wet. The boat has faster acceleration than any of the other Novice boats and handles very well in the water, but careful when you go airborne, the air control is rather weak.
Hydro Thunder Hurricane[]
It has decent top speed, good acceleration, great handling, but fairly difficult to control in the air. As the first boat available in the game, it is recommended for players new to the game. Vector's v-hull allows it to grip to the surface of the water when turning. The Pieces Of Eight boat skin is unlocked by winning Gold in the Tsunami Bowl Novice Ring Master event. The One Way skin is unlocked by obtaining all of the Hidden Packages in Lake Powell. The Grafix skin, exclusive to the Tempest Pack, is unlocked by beating the Novice Ring Master event at Atlantis using Vector.

- It is named after Vector Unit, the company that created Hydro Thunder Hurricane.
- It is a similar case to Midway being named after Midway Games.
- As a matter of fact, it is Hydro Thunder Hurricane's equivalent to Midway.
